It seems like when I'm giving the boys a bath I'm always thinking there is something else I should be doing. After I get them all scrubbed up I let them play with their toys for a while and I use this time for myself. Sometime I give myself a facial, or paint my finger & toe nails. Other times I use those minutes to sort through my cabinet to see if there is anything I don't really use that can be donated. If I'm really bored I check the expiration dates on the medicine in the cabinet to see what's past it's date, but my
favorite thing to do when they are playing is to catch up on a little reading. Usually that means my many magazines, but sometimes it's an actual book! :-) I keep a stash of magazines in the bathroom just for bathtime.

I rip out the pages I want to remember and file them away. I rip out recipes, decorating ideas, fun crafts I want to try, and websites I want to check out. Then I file them away in a binder to visit at a later date. I have more binders then I probably need, but I think it's a more efficient way to keep track of articles than to keep the whole magazine. If I've already read through my stash of magazine and I don't have anything else to do...I clean. My least favorite thing to do, but if you manage to clean the toilet and sink once a week that is one more think you can check off your chore chart. When the boys are out of the tub I give the wet surfaces a quick spray with shower cleaner and I'm done! It works for me!!!

I do this, too! I actually hadn't thought about cleaning or a facial, but that's a great idea! Our laundry "closet" is right next to the bathroom, so I can do laundry and watch my dd at the same time.
I always clean the bathroom during bath time! It's the only time to get it done! :-)
That's such a great idea! I definitely need to do this.
Great idea, thanks.
I've recently started cleaning the bathroom during bath time. My husband actually does the bathing, but I pop in to visit and clean now. I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner, but my bathroom has stayed a lot nicer since I've started swishing out the toilet and wiping down the counters every evening. Clutter doesn't have a chance to build up.
