Mourning my LG

Over the weekend my beloved LG phone died. I think I over texted and killed it. I got to be a pro at it. I LOVE the predictive text and got so used to it that I could automatically hit the 0 button the appropriate number of times to select the correct word. After sending a text to my mom the phone shut off and rebooted...BUT it never stopped!!! It was in a continuous loop of powering on and off again. Never giving me the opportunity to use it again. *sniff sniff*

I took it into my local Alltel store to see if they could flash the phone and put life back into it. No suck luck. It ended up being complete garbage! Ugh! It sucks! So my mom loaned me her Samsung phone. I don't like it. I really appreciate the phone, but it just can't keep up with my texting! I would get going and it would miss every 3rd letter or so and ended up misspelling a ton of words!

I bought my hubby a great phone off of Ebay, an HTC Touch Pro and it arrived this past week. He was glad to get it and I was equally glad. I am now inheriting his old phone, an LG Scoop. Citris too. It works for now. It's in really great shape and it's an LG (which I LOVE by the way). It has a qwerty, which I know is all the rage, but I'm just not "feeling" the love. I try to get going on it, but it just doesn't feel natural to me. I find myself resorting to the keypad on the front of the phone entering texts with T9. It just works for me.

I've been looking up phones to see what I might want to get myself and I think I want the LG Glimmer. Anyone out there have any comments about it? I like the idea of having a touch screen, but not JUST a touch screen. I think I won't be happy unless there is a keypad too. That's the plan then, after Christmas I'll be scouring the auctions looking for a great deal.

Have a phone you just LOVE? Tell me about it!

Exercising with baby

I've decided with a great friend of mine that Monday would be the day her and I get back on track to lose our baby weight. My day goes by so fast and between 3 kids, work, laundry, dishes and other cleaning I have no time for me. However, I have a stack of Walk Away the Pounds DVD's that I love and I'm always ordering more. Since I have a Baby Bjorn that Cutler loves I thought I'd try and put the two together.

Leslie Sansone has just a few simple moves to her workouts: walking, knee lifts, kicks, wide walking (Cutler really seems to like this part, I hate how goofy I look doing it!), kickbacks (really just a hamstring curl), and side steps. Her one mile videos are about 20 minutes long including the brief warm up and cool down.

If I can do it you so can you! This week I've been able to work out with him twice. Working out while wearing him is not necessarily my goal...but I do appreciate the extra resistance! lol!

Aquafresh Iso Active Foaming Toothpaste Review

I was given a sample of the New Aquafresh Iso Active Foaming Whitening Toothpaste to try and share my thoughts. I love it! I've been using Colgate Total for years and when I saw the commercial for this I couldn't wait to run out and buy some. SheSpeaks.com provided me with a sample so I saved a few bucks too! Here I am trying it for the first time. I had just woke up and not brushed yet, so it was actually given an honest try. It's really foamy, but that seems to make the greatest difference.

Verdict:

1. Love the pump!!! Very easy to use and it's not messy. I can even trust my kids to use it.
2. Taste was nice and clean. No funny aftertaste. Kept my mouth feeling clean, that is until I had my coffee. ;-)
3. Foaming action left me feeling that it got into all the nooks and crannys of my mouth.
4. Whitening - I wish they had put a color chart on the side of the tube. That way you can chart your whitening progress. I would like to be convinced that the whitening actually works.

Over all, I would definitely buy this product. You should try it!

Sites 2 See!

This is a long time coming. I've got my cell phone notepad full with 100 notes of sites that I've come across that I want to see. Here is what I have this week:

1. Beco Baby Carrier - my favorite one is the Grace. Isn't it cute? Wishing I had one. I love that it's versatile enough to wear your baby on the front or the back!

2. Nature Rocks - This website has all sorts of great ideas that you can have fun with your children in nature. You can search by your zip code or select your backyard or community and age of your children and it will inspire you to go outside and play! A great resource!!!

3. KidKupz - This product is ingenious!!! My boys HATE taking medicine. These candy coated medicine cups would be a God Send!!! I love their slogan too: "Takes the ick out of sick".

4. Photojojo - If you love to take pics, then this site is for you. They sell some of the coolest things, even better...they're hiring! This place looks like it rocks to work there! Too bad I don't live in San Francisco, I would totally apply!

5. Mom Tried it - This mommy blogger does all the cool crafts that I wish I had the creativity to come up with and the time to get it done. I just came across her blog and I've found myself reading for a while, when I realized almost an hour has gone by! You won't be disappointed.

6. See Jane Work - Have you seen this site? I'm an organizer at heart and this site makes my heart flutter. For some reason my heart still races when I see an organizer. I don't really use them to the fullest, but my need for them always wins out. The 8 days a week planner is just what I need!!! As a mom we all need more time, an extra day a week would be perfect. Also this multi-tasking planner seems ideal...maybe I'll have to get both!

Well, that's it for now! My little man is stirring and he'll be up in no time. Thanks for stopping by! Share/Bookmark
